I have never been happier with my decision on getting help from you

I would like to send this letter with great gratitude to Jennifer Croft. Before I met Jennifer, I had about $42,000 worth of debt. I was experiencing financial difficulty to a point that I had suffered from depression that created more trouble for me as I was not able to work for a while. I have called and spoken to different kinds people for financial advised and helped through advertisements, websites and even banks but were nowhere close to getting an answer on how to deal with my financial trouble that I am comfortable with. When I sat down with Jennifer, she was able to give me options that I can live with and know that I will be able to go through. It was a tremendous relief that I was able to get all straighten out in short period of time when I was dealing with this by myself for the past 5 years. She was accommodating, very compassionate but firm on making sure I understand my responsibilities and consequences if I do not abide with the contract. She was very helpful, and complete knowledge of her financial advised. With my on – going debt relief program, I am now stress free and was able to go back to work knowing that I am able to pay my debt monthly and will soon see the end of all this. My sincere thank you to Jennifer for helping me out with my financial trouble, I have never been happier with my decision on getting help from you.

Scott at 4 Pillars Consulting is amazing! He doesn’t judge, shows humility and kindness and is willing to make sure you are comfortable with any direction you take with your financial situation. Before I called Scott at 4 Pillars, I had been thinking about contacting them for a few months. On a cold January afternoon, I was left with no choice but to finally do it an hour after I was laid off from my job, which was barely allowing me to make even the most minimum of payments on my debts.
The haziness and anxiety surrounding the months prior to reaching out to 4 Pillars for help started disappearing after my first phone call with Scott. I’m sure that he didn’t believe that I ‘had a cold’, and could tell that I was stressed beyond belief, but he spoke to me like I wasn’t a complete failure, which is the feeling that followed me very closely that day.

I felt comfortable with him right away and looked forward to our appointment very much, as much as I resented the fact that I found myself in this situation. After a series of unfortunate events, I was left with debts that I would not have been able to pay off unless I married into royalty, and was close to declaring bankruptcy.

Although a relief in some sense, to bring your debt down to a manageable size, it is still a difficult process to go through, but Scott was there every step of the way and made the whole thing seem less daunting than it did in the beginning.

The information given in the credit counselling sessions was very helpful and informative. The handouts helped me recall what had been explained. I was referred to 4 Pillars by a good friend of mine who saw I was struggling. I was going through the worst time of my life after being defrauded. In the few years preceding 2013, my family was, like many Canadian families, living a life of quiet desperation. We were financially devastated.
This situation began when my husband was sued by a client. This was certainly the catalyst. He went into a deep depression, and, of course, didn’t work for a while. I had to pay all of the bills which included 3 credit card accounts. I had been using these cards to help with the monthly expenses.

I started looking around to find a solution to this situation. But the worse was to come. I did some research, asked questions, and was given all kinds of advice. Following some of these, included, ‘Stop paying the cards’. I had never missed a minimum payment. That was the only way those companies would take my case, and after I had saved enough money, they would negotiate a settlement for me with my creditors. In the meantime, I was to pay them a monthly fee. In hindsight, that was very bad advice.
As I followed this advice, the calls started, and finally, all accounts were put through the courts, and my wages were being garnished. By this time, no one would help us. We lost additional money paying these companies for services not rendered. Can anyone imagine the level of stress and strife within my household?

Then, by luck ( I call it that ), I was introduced to 4 Pillars, and Scott Patton. I explained our situation, and his first words were: ‘We could get you out of this predicament within a couple months.’ So said …..so done.

To us, the process seemed simple. But we knew that the legal procedures and process that Scott and his team were following were extremely detailed. They fought for us, and truly worked on our behalf. We were kept informed through every step, and finally in a few months, we were able to resume our lives stress free.

There is a very important feature of the 4 Pillars program which includes budgeting and credit rebuilding. Having followed their guidelines and ongoing advice, I can say that only after 14 months, both my husband and I have decent credit scores. So much so that we were able to secure a car loan and we were approved for an unsecured credit card to help us rebuild our credit.

Through education, all the myths regarding debt reconstruction were dispelled. We found this to be a safe program designed to help us. We also learned quite a few lessons, one of which is that there is a company out there truly committed to helping families in trouble.

From our very first contact we were made to feel very comfortable, and we always felt our best interests were being met. We were especially pleased that Charlie is always available to answer questions, and has been more than helpful in helping us rebuild our credit. This was the best move we have made and we are so grateful to Charlie.

This information should be taught to everyone
